A Europe-wide ban on PFAS in portable extinguishers is confirmed, and in Europe, PFAS-containing fire extinguishers cannot be sold after 23rd October 2026 and must be out of use by 31st December 2030.

We expect UK regulations to follow this soon, and whilst our AFFF foam extinguishers will remain available in the short-term, we do not plan to stock any 2026-dated AFFF foam extinguishers, so current stock is likely to be phased out by Q2 2026
